We are proud to invite everyone interested to the first official presentation of the electronic (CD-based) Hebrew-Polish-Hebrew Dictionary on 5 November at 1 p.m. at the Krakow Book Fair. The event will be hosted in Seminar Room 2 by Poleng's Wojciech Kuchta. The publishers are Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM (Adam Mickiewicz University publishing house), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv. What we are doing at Poleng is turning the dictionary into the electronic form. What are the features of this unique publication? Its entries contain, among other things, simple Hebrew definitions, pronunciation transcriptions, grammar information, examples of use and idioms as well as pronunciation recordings. Also, this didactic product features a variety of useful materials, such as theme-based vocabulary lists, verb charts, phrases used in interpersonal communication etc. There is also the virtual keyboard with which you can easily type in Hebrew characters while looking up a word.
